My name is Debbie, and photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Capturing moments, emotions, and the beauty of everyday life brings me immense joy, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to share this love with others.

I was born and raised in upstate New York, a place that will always hold a special place in my heart. Although several years ago, I made the decision to move to Raleigh, North Carolina, and it has been one of the best choices I have ever made. This city has given me a sense of community, a slower pace to appreciate the little things, and a beautiful backdrop for my work. The Triangle is where I truly found my home.

Beyond photography, I have been an educator for the past 25+ years. Teaching has been a cornerstone of my life, allowing me to inspire and guide others, just as I have been inspired along the way. The ability to nurture curiosity and creativity in others is something I deeply cherish. Education and photography have many parallels—both require patience, a keen eye, and a genuine love for people.

My greatest joy, however, comes from my family. I am blessed with an amazing husband, whom I married in 2003, and two beautiful children who are my world. They remind me daily of the importance of capturing fleeting moments, which is at the heart of my photography.

Through my lens, I strive to freeze time—whether it's a child's laughter, a couple's embrace, or the golden light of a Carolina sunset. Photography, for me, is more than just a profession or a hobby; it is a way of seeing and celebrating life.
